For the purposes of publication in Journal of Playwork Practice, we define a photo essay as a collection of photos related to a playwork theme. The competition format is the photo essay. We invite photographers to submit photo essays to illustrate their mountain related stories whether they are culture, adventure, wildlife, sport, environment, or natural history. Each essay submitted should consist of two (2) to five (5) images. We suggest you include only those images required to tell.Essay Contest Rules 2020. Length: Your essay should be at least 1,000 words but should not exceed 1,250 words (word count does not apply to the list of sources). The word count must be included on the document you submit. Content and Judging: Submissions will be judged on the quality of analysis, quality of research, and form, style and mechanics.
